Background
Eternity was established in 1998 by Pastor Peter and Judy Hallett. The name of the church was inspired by the local Sydney identity Arthur Stace who has become known as Sydney's Mr Eternity . Stace, who wrote the word Eternity in chalk across the city for nearly 40 years, was impacted by the preaching of the Gospel and was subsequently powerfully converted under the shade of a huge Moreton Bay Figtree, on the grounds of Sydney Univeristy, only a few minutes from Eternity's home base.
